In the cellar, the team treated the wine to 12 months in top-notch French and American oak barrels. Given all the care and attention, it should come as no surprise that Vilarissa earned 91 points and a gold medal from Gilbert & Gaillard. Look forward to rich plum, black cherry and delicate floral aromas. The palate adds in hints of spiced vanilla and coconut, from the time in oak, along with fine tannins and a smooth, persistent finish.
